Ships and Bottles

She is locked away on a forgotten ship.

Inside she is screaming. Breaking.

She is spinning, falling, dying.

Can no one hear her?

She doesn't want to do this anymore.

Why can't she fucking escape?

Please god, she is on her knees begging.

Can you not feel her?

Her decisions are bottles of regret.

Corks plugging a life full of mistakes.

She wants to reliquish control.

Please can't you just take them away?

The storm is more than she can withstand.

Her sails are battered beyond repair.

She is cowering in low quarters.

Oh god why couldn't you save her?

It's getting voilent.

The boards holding her together are falling apart.

She has nothing to catch her.

God please she can't do this anymore.

When she hits the water she drowns.

Take her upon your boat.

Steal away her ability to think.

Take these decisions.

Please god she has nothing left.

She has nothing.

She is nothing.

Not in this land of ships and bottles.

Not in this world of sinking waters.

She needs your guidance.

Save her.

Do you have more? This is great! Deep, emotional, and real.

Thank you. No, life has been too darn hectic for me to do real writing like this. Perhaps sometime I will put up more poems, or short stories, but for now I am trying to swim through murky waters.

Now that I have found you… Nothing should ever come between us ever again.
